LAURIESTON, REDDING AND WESTQUARTER PARISH CHURCHES

The centre of the window shows the Resurrection, beginning at the foot with the scene of the open tomb on Easter morning; then the risen figure of our Lord standing on the world with outstretched arms, with the shape of the cross behind him; and, above, a group of some of the disciples witnessing the Ascensions.
The window on the left shows two woman standing on the threshold of a cottage, one holding a torch, the other just about to open a book. This is to suggest the opening of the way to higher education of woman, and the home influence at the back of it.
The right window shows a woman coming from the church, fully equipped with the new knowledge, and accompanied by the protection and blessing of Saint Columba as the patron saint of the Scottish Church.
